I see the leash around your neck at the end but where is the doggie? 🐕 Today I watched an enraged mockingbird chasing a hawk around and around in circles in my backyard. It was hilarious to see! Evidently, the hawk had decided to lunch on fledglings at the nesting site and momma was none too pleased! She let him have what for as I guffawed in delight. The hawk did not have lunch today, at least not at that nest! 😊

I love Kingham and the wild Rabbit

My Grandfather was born in Elkstone in 1895 and christened in the lovely little church. I visited in 2013, I live in Australia, to see if the graves of his parents and extended family were there but unfortunately the wind and weather had erased most of the inscriptions. There were 'Painters' in Elkstone possibly for centuries.

Hi Richard, Once again the breath of clean english air you bring us from the quiet places in the Cotswold, refreshes like few things can.

Not as gentrified as the Chipping Norton/Kingham area but a huge amount of new development in Mickleton and nearby villages. A necessary evil, I guess.

That Foxglove flower at 2:09 must be six feet tall.
